At Riviera Outdoor Décor, we are more than an outdoor living company—we are a full-service outdoor kitchen, furniture, and design firm with a rare combination of in-house design and engineering expertise. Not only in Corpus Christi, but nationwide, few firms offer this level of specialization under one roof. Our team undergoes advanced training and earns continuing education credits (CEUs) in marine-grade outdoor kitchens and furnishings, ensuring every product we offer is built with purpose and performance in mind.
Our work has earned four international design awards, recognition as Best Outdoor Furniture Store in Corpus Christi, and features in numerous publications—all a reflection of our commitment to innovation, quality, and thoughtful design.
We don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” outdoor living. What works in northern Michigan won’t necessarily withstand the harsh coastal conditions of the Gulf Coast or tropical climates. Outdoor furniture, kitchens, and especially appliances must be tailored to their environment to truly last. That’s why we specialize in coastal outdoor living—designing spaces and selecting materials specifically engineered to handle salt air, intense sun, and humidity.
Outdoor living should be effortless, enjoyable, and built to last. It should bring people together—away from screens and distractions—and create space for genuine connection. Whether it’s sharing a meal, playing games, or simply relaxing, your outdoor space should feel like a natural extension of your home.
For our own family, with four children spanning fourteen years, the outdoors became the one place where age didn’t matter. It was where everyone connected—laughing, cooking, and creating memories together. From the youngest to the grandparents, it became a true multigenerational haven. That experience continues to shape the products we offer and the spaces we design.
As lifelong residents of the Coastal Bend in Corpus Christi, we understand both the beauty and the challenges of coastal living. We’ve experienced firsthand how harsh salt air and humidity can be on outdoor products. At one point, it felt like we spent more time replacing furniture than actually enjoying it. Even more frustrating was the lack of cohesive collections that allowed homeowners to design a complete, coordinated outdoor space.
That’s when our founder and lead designer, Melissa Hammann, decided to create something better. With a background in interior design and specialized expertise in outdoor product construction, she set out to curate a collection of outdoor furniture and kitchens designed specifically for coastal durability and long-term performance.
Every piece we offer has been carefully selected—and often field-tested—for longevity. In fact, that commitment to real-world performance is what led to the creation of our outdoor showroom, where products are proven to withstand the very conditions they’re designed for.
At Riviera Outdoor Décor, we don’t just design outdoor spaces—we create environments that are built to last, made to be lived in, and designed to bring people together.
